I wouldn't have mind so much if it was a blog that lead people back to my dA page.
But no, it was a paid membership site that features "hard rock alternative metal girls!" at about $24 per month. Bad thing is- I can't get inside to see how many of my other photos are in there.

The thing I found funny is their quite lengthily explanation of copyright laws and dooming everyone who "copies" their work will be prosecuted etc etc.

There's a huge tattoo convention going on the next 3 days. I got pinup shots last year from it. Looking to get better photos this year. Look for updates on instagram.

So some of these groups on DA that take all sorts of naked girl photos.. But when I submit my photos- they get denied..

I don't know WTF You Want!

I don't send my requests out to everyone under the sun. But honestly, all the models I have on my portfolio are here for a reason- because I think they are beautiful and so do most of everyone.

I submitted Red Shoes to a butt group

and got denied cause they said "We only want high quality photos of girls butts"
WTF Do you think this is- a cell phone photo?
The hands are in focus while everything else is slightly out of focus- yes.. That is my intent for the emphasis on her being cuffed up.. Don't tell me a 3456×5184 pixel shot of a gorgeous girl's rear view is not high quality when I've seen you accept photos that are 480x720 of a girl facing the camera and not showing her ass when the "ass" is what your whole group is focused on!

Groups really piss me off.

For years I used film for my photography. I only recently (last year after the Queen Anne shoot) converted to digital only- due to the fact film was too expensive for me to use.

So I have old unseen shots of Leigh Anti, Tristin Vitriol, Poe Berry, Courtney Davi, KD, and Bullet Miller.. I'll take these to the lab and get them professionally scanned in today. And I'll see what I have to work with

I had put a craigslist ad up looking for nude models for corsetry. I got a message from a 18yr girl who wanted to be paid for the photoshoot. So I'm thinking ok sure. Turns out she needed fast cash to pay for a court fine that she owed the day after the shoot. When she arrived she had a 2 liter bottle of Coke she was drinking from, but she was acting so strange. Turns out the coke bottle was filled with rum. She said she was going to use the bathroom but instead goes to the front door and lets her boyfriend inside (another star citizen I'm sure) He starts yelling at her "Get the money and lets go already!" I handed her some cash just to get them out of my house before items started disappearing.
I've never used any of the film that I took that day, I'm actually thinking about either burning it or just giving it away so someone else can deal with her crap. I'm sure if I ever posted any of her photos she would call me and demand I take them down etc.

I guess that's pretty good odds right? I've worked with somewhere around 30 girls and 1 has turned out to be psycho.
I did learn to start using the free background checker. And of course after the fact I ran her name and found reasons why I should never worked with her before.

I'm at 199 images in my portfolio.
So I won't have an update until I get an image worthy of being number 200. I have some ideas and shoots planned soon.

I have enough content to have well over 1,000 photos on here honestly. But I try to only present the best of the best. So my next image has to be exceptional to my standards.

So I'm getting close to 200 images uploaded.. And I'm wondering if I should go way beyond my normal photos and blow your mind for the 200th upload? Tell me what you think. I have a model coming in January who will be working with me and I'd like to hear some thoughts. She is quite gorgeous, 5' 5" 110 lbs 34"C 24" 34" Greek, Egyptian, Irish, & German mix. She is an artistic nude model(pinup, glamour, artistic nude), no erotic.
Give me your thoughts on what would blow your mind for 200! I will weigh the suggestions against my budget lol. If you don't suggest a theme I highly suggest you come and see the photo- she is amazing and I plan to bring her beauty full frontal and strong!

So far the ideas I have are this
Swing (Rope swing or Traditional swing)
Abandon(Abandoned building or warehouse- kinda played out often)
Streams of Crimson (expensive)


Sorry but before you suggest it- I won't shoot any gore unless its for a Zombie movie.

Well damn with this journal entry I really don't wanna let you guys down! So if I don't get mind blowing images next month you won't see me upload the 200th until I believe I have shot it!

Callie is in surgery today. The model I have had the privilege to shoot with for her first pinup nude. (My most recent work)
She has two vertebrae that are fused together, causing abnormal spinal curvature and pain. And I want you to keep her in you're thoughts today.

Oddly enough my muse Tristin is headed to New Jersey this week for surgery as well. She hasn't given me the permission to discuss what the surgery is for but it is not body enhancement. I want you to keep her in your thoughts too.

I know they will pull through it they are both very extraordinary girls.

I turned in the last project for portraits, got mixed reviews about the content. But did receive good reviews on the composition and exposure.

My current project is "Quality of Light"
I have to come up with a different idea for each photo, 12 in total. So far I have 2 ideas haha! Oh, not enough time to think. The photos have to deal with great deal of darkness or brightness while being exposed correctly.

I don't want to ruin the surprise of my ideas for this project. I hope to really impress!

So right now in school... I am on the portrait assignment.
By next class I have to hand in 5 ideas for themes on portraits. (There will be a total of 12 images to be handed in)
(I've actually been waiting for the portrait assignment since I started)
So lets see, keeping to my female model photography background my 5 themes would be something like this.

Portrait themes

1. Coppertone-Girls getting their bottoms pulled down by some dog or hooked on a door handle or something.

2. Bed head- Topless girls waking up in bed with their hair all messy. (No I wouldn't be in their room waiting for it- creepy!)

3. Shark bait- Get a costume of a shark and put it over top the model like their are being eaten!

4. Lingerie Ad- Shoot models like they are in Vogue.

5. Psycho- Girl's in the shower with an ominous shadow stalking them!

Which do you think is the best?

Current assignment in class is motion blur and freeze. I couldn't get a model fast enough to do a ghost girl for me. So in the future I will have a ghost girl for everyone to enjoy and get creeped out by.

So I leave my dA account alone for a few days while I go to school/work. And when I return I have so many messages and photos to sift through!

So my first project in Digital Photo Class is one of two choices.. Doubles ie; two different things that share a similarity. Or Hershey's Kisses in interesting ways.
I chose Kisses. The project is due this morning and I just shot the rest of the photos yesterday before work and edited last night before I couldn't hold my eyes open any longer.

So let me share the three photos I did for photo class..

Well I am going back to college this fall. Taking digital photography, and videography. I've already been through film and advanced film photography classes.. I imagine a lot of the lessons will deal with what I have already learned except I get no darkroom to play around for hours on end... Maybe they can teach me a thing or two on photoshop!
One thing I am looking forward to is having to do projects! I can't wait to put my own personal spin into the assignments.
I don't have a video camera so it looks like my 7D is going to get a workout over the next few months. Maybe I should invest into some insurance for it...

If you couldn't tell- I've been shooting more and more with Tristin Vitriol lately. And I asked her to be my muse last time I spoke to her, and she is all for it!
So I hope to improve my trade for everyone. And if your a fan of Tristin there will be more to come. We have many projects on the burner.

In a couple weeks I'll be going to a Cafe Racer Motorcycle show- totally stoked because this is my favorite style of bike! I'll have Tristin there to rock out on the bikes and bring some photos back. I recently went to a pinup competition and I have a few photos I'll be adding to scraps later.

Good evening guests and watchers alike! I have a lot of work I've done that I haven't yet updated yet. I apologize- I don't have a computer I can upload with anymore. But soon I will upload what I can. I have completed a couple of projects that look amazing! I have been working with a few new models, all of which are really great girls. I'll update as soon as I can!

If you love Katie Devine, then I have a special treat for you to come! We had a great photo-shoot on Friday with Ms. KD. We did a Maxim themed shoot downtown, then in the woods! We shot with Portra 160VC so I have to get it developed then scaaaannnnn all the film into the computer. So, more is coming! It's just gonna take a couple days.

Now that Ashley moved away we no longer have a muse. She said she'd be back to visit once in a while, but who knows when that will be. So I'll be searching for a new muse- given where I live it may take quite a while before I find one... I do have some more of Ashley's photos coming but for some reason whenever I upload a JPEG it gives no preview and says I cannot upload an unknown file with no preview.. Been sitting here for an hour trying to figure out what went wrong, the first 2 photos I uploaded with no problem... Alice said she'll take a look at it later (Shes the computer wiz)

Well I think we did a pretty good job at doing a dark shoot with the Boiler. It took quite a bit of planning and a big favor from a local club. I'm glad we had the opportunity to work with Anna, she's a really resourceful model! After our costume guy fell through with the jump suit, Anna went and got some carhartt overalls! We love models who can come up with wardrobe! We will most likely see more work with Anna in the future.

We want to do more corsetry but we have to get more built for us- although if you have a corset 18"-24" that you're done with, we'd like to give it a new home! We have a couple of shoots in mind that will require more favors from business owners *crosses fingers*.

We are going to be working with a new model this week and I gotta say I'm pretty anxious to meet and work with her. She has a very exotic look, and I've forgotten just how much ethnicity she said she has but its a mix of a few. Anyways, we're going to be shooting her through a fence and I can only hope our strobe does well to disguise that fact. We're making a tribute to a famous photo (or attempting) once we have it finished, see if you can make the connection to the original. Of course we're putting our own spin on it. I've been wanting to go dark and dirty for a while and now I finally have a chance to do that. This Wednesday is the shoot *crosses fingers*.

Our latest model was so inspiring and talented we requested she be a muse to us and she accepted. We'll be doing more shoots of her in the future. We have some ideas lined up so check back now and then.
